Apt #2

We never intended to purchase a second vacation rental in Pezenas...or maybe we did! We have a little sickness. We always peak at "for sale" signs in the village.
The truth is, our neighbour across the hallway had been trying for a while to sell what eventually became Apartment #2. She had terrible renters, who became squatters. When they finally vacated the apartment, it sat dormant for at least one year or more - mostly because the owner had no idea the squatters had left. By the time we had approached her, she was fed-up and motivated to sell. When we finally started looking at this apartment, we were well aware of what we could create and what the costs would be to run it from our previous experiences.
Now Apartment #2 is where we choose to spend our time, while Apartment #1 rents. 
We included some photos in this post from our first visit to the apartment in August 2016. We both knew that the apartment needed  some love and a little imagination.
